UNISERVE SPEKE
The Brief
In June 2023 Prinovis, the German Printing Giant withdrew its operations from the United Kingdom, citing unsustainable losses, caused in part by the energy crisis and part by the decline in demand for printed brochures and magazines. Uniserve were brought in, to maintain and secure the site whilst a buyer for the site was found. For the security aspect, Uniserve's plan was to sub-contract a local security company to manage. One of our existing clients recommended us to Uniserve and the rest is history!
Our Solution
After meeting with the contract manager from Uniserve and discussing their needs and requirements from the security standpoint, we set about designing a comprehensive security package to secure and protect the site for an indeterminable amount of time. Our security package consisted of Manned and Mobile Guards and several PIR activated, solar powered cameras strategically placed around the site to provide optimal coverage and provide our guards with real time alerts on any motion activations.
The Result
We have providing security for this 50 acre site for 2 year at the time of writing. A buyer for the site was found and the sale completed. Our contract with Uniserve ended in April 2025 when the sale of the site was completed, just before the demolition crew arrived to level the site. We were then contacted by the demolition firm Divestiture, after they had received a recommendation about us, seeking to retain our services on-site. Which we were more than happy to provide.
