The Brief
We were contacted by a panicked event
organiser at the end of July 2025. The
organisers had a 3-day music festival set
to run over the August Bank Holiday
Weekend (23rd – 25th August) and taking
place on the world-famous Liverpool
Waterfront.
With less than a month to go before the
first day of the festival, the security
company originally contracted by the
organisers to run security and traffic
management at the event pulled out.
We were approached and although it
was extremely short notice in terms of
planning, preparation and execution, we
agreed to look at the requirements and
specifications to see if it would be
something that despite the short notice,
we would be able to manage safely and
securely. Plus, we do love a challenge!

Our Solution
After an initial meeting with the organisers, we set about compiling a bespoke security solution on paper, based on their security and traffic management requirements over the 9 days (3 days of the festival and 6 days set up / down). We were then able to confirm that we had more than enough SIA registered guards to cover all required security posts.
Our event planning team set about drafting and outlining SOPs (standard operating procedures), Policies and contingency plans as well as making sure all relevant or required paperwork was correct and in place.

The Result
After weeks of round the clock planning, we delivered an exceptional security service for the site, festival assets and thousands of festival goers. We provided 3 guards for 24hrs across 9 days, ensuring that the site and all assets were secured at all times. Then on the 3 festival days we supplied a security solution comprising of 30 SIA registered guards, performing general security and helping any festival goers or staff when approached as well several of our guards on gates using knife wands and screening for prohibited items. The result was an incident free 9 days and an amazing festival for everyone involved.
